Hello, everyone! My name is Simon, and I'm a 29-year-old dynamic individual who loves seeking out new challenges in life. With a background in sales and a master's degree in administrative sciences, I've always been drawn to opportunities that push me outside of my comfort zone. After several years of experiences in sales, I was looking for new challenges and decided to take on the position of Technical Sales Representative and joined the team at FerroČrtalič earlier this year. Now, after four months of working here, I want to share my experiences and impressions about the company with you all through this blog post. 

My experience, challenges and growth at FerroČrtalič

As a newcomer to the surface preparation solutions industry, I was struck by its highly technical nature. In the sales department, I took on the responsibility for the segment of enameling and sandblasting for boilers. Our company has excellent solutions in this segment and a strong presence in the market. Additionally, I also took on the segment of the defense industry and got involved in sales of our standard equipment. It was definitely a challenge to quickly understand the intricacies of the technology, but that's exactly what I was looking for – a challenge. Luckily, the team at FerroČrtalič has been incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to help. They are warm and welcoming, and it's evident that they have a deep understanding and passion for this technology and these machines. 

The company has a positive and inclusive culture towards new employees. I was warmly welcomed and felt at home right from the beginning. The team has been amazing, exceeding my expectations with their openness and willingness to help. They understand that I'm new to this specific field and are always ready to provide guidance and support. It's clear that they value and prioritize the growth and development of their team members. What has also impressed me is the company’s customer-centric approach. Each customer is treated with special attention and care, with a focus on finding tailored solutions to meet their specific needs. This requires a lot of coordination and problem-solving, which can be challenging, but it’s also a great opportunity for me to learn and expand my skills. Furthermore, this also makes the work dynamic and exciting. 

A positive company culture with opportunities for improvement

One of the key benefits of our organization is the emphasis on family values. Building genuine relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers is highly valued here. This creates a positive and collaborative working environment where everyone feels like part of a big family. It’s a refreshing and motivating aspect of the company culture. As a new employee, I see opportunities for improvement in the areas of digitalization and process efficiency. I believe that embracing modern technologies and simplifying procedures can lead to increased productivity and improved customer service. I look forward to contributing my ideas and insights to help drive positive changes in these areas. As I look to the future, I am optimistic about having greater autonomy in making decisions and having a more flexible work schedule. With the company becoming a more modern and agile organization, these factors are crucial to encourage a collaborative and efficient workplace culture. I value the opportunity to contribute my own ideas and insights to the team, and I believe that this will not only help me achieve a better work-life balance but also enable me to bring my best self to work every day and make a meaningful impact in my role. 

I am an honest and straightforward person. I tell it like it is, so I hope that the editorial board at our company won't be messing with my writing. But hey, if they do, at least it'll make for some good laughs, right? In all seriousness, I believe that open and transparent communication is essential in any workplace, and I plan to uphold that value in my writing as well.
